The Helix is an exciting country park set between Falkirk and Grangemouth with an extensive path network, watersports lagoon, an event space, iconic artworks and more.
Set within fantastic greenspace covering almost 300 hectares, the facility opens up Scotland’s canal network and provides an outdoor recreational area for visitors and locals alike.
Packed with an extensive network of barrier free pathways and cycleways, parks and gardens, watersports lagoon, this nature zone is a place of delight with diverse habitats rich in wildlife.
The park comprises of a wide range of various facilities spread across six sections. From walking, running and cycling routes with vital connections between local towns and villages at Helix North and South, to scenically located café deck in Central Park where visitors can enjoy high quality refreshments while watching the waterbased activities on the lagoon facing the café, to the iconic artworks including the impressive creation of two huge 30m horse head sculptures, the park provides a wealth of activities in the lush forest and woodland surroundings that make it a perfect destination for a fun-filled day out.
