The McManus is a magnificent Victorian, Gothic building where art, history and the environment combine to offer a fascinating insight into Dundee.
The McManus is Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum and has recently undergone an exciting and extensive refurbishment project, bringing the 143 old facility into the 21st century. Beautiful open gallery spaces have been created in Dundee's best-loved building, with state-of-the-art displays and new interactives, in what is now a 'must see' attraction in the heart of Dundee and Tayside.
Throughout the eight galleries within the MacManus you can learn about early man in the area, admire stunning paintings and explore artifacts from industries past and present.
The retail area stocks a wide range of historical reproductions, traditional toys, books and jewellery, and the welcoming café with an outdoor terrace boasts an extensive menu.
