Bank Holiday Mondays (25th April,2nd May,30th May, 29th Aug) The Old Byre is a Heritage Centre in the beautiful Glen Bellart close to the picturesque village of Dervaig on the Isle of Mull. The Old Byre is a must for anyone who would like to absorb the history of Mull in an effortless 'armchair' manner! With two amazing videos - one describing Mull's history from when man first settled here, and the other one about Mull's abundant and varied wildlife - both on land and in the waters around Mull, you can learn so much about this beautiful island. Our Gift Shop and Tearoom are relaxing places to purchase souvenirs and crafts or enjoy some light refreshment or a delicious light lunch.
