At last we have made it easy for you to enter the exciting world of Scottish country sports. No specialist equipment needed. No previous experience required, just bring your self and an adventurous spirit.
The traditional Scottish country sports of fishing, shooting and stalking aren't just about a quick thrill. They are about passion and excitement which will last a lifetime, and a deep connection to our countryside.
The Scottish Country Sports Experience introduces you to a world in a friendly and safe way through short taster sessions. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a novice with an interest or someone with basic level experience who wishes to know more. Deer Stalking Experience - After a short safety brief you will be driven off road up into the hills above Trochry (By Dunkeld) experiencing some of Perthshire finest scenery along the way. You then take part in a simulated stalk followed by a rifle shooting session.

Fishing Experience - In the heart of the countryside Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort offers the perfect venue to learn to fish in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Other resort facilities include golf and the waterside restaurant.

Game Shooting Experience - Learn the art of game shooting and shoot at clay pigeons set up to simulate live game! Taster sessions available at the Dunkeld Hilton shooting school or Auchterhouse shooting school (by Dundee).
