The Ski and Snowboard School

The Ski and Snowboard School is a not-for-profit organisation and the only ski and snowboard school based on Cairngorm Mountain.

In partnership with Cairngorm Mountain Ltd (the operators of the ski area), The Ski and Snowboard School can give customers the best option for lessons and packages. In order to deliver the best lessons possible, The Ski and Snowboard School only employs qualified instructors and operates with a maximum class size of 10 for skiing and 8 for snowboarding. The school recognises that children and adults learn in different ways, so aims to operate separate classes for adults and children when possible.

The Ski and Snowboard School is a member of the BASI Kitemark scheme, the quality assurance scheme for ski schools and also meets the quality, safety and environmental standards for use of the Cairngorms brand.

Lessons are offered for all ages and abilities. Whether you are 5 or 65, a total beginner or have been doing it for years, the friendly and professional instructors will ensure that you have a memorable time on Cairngorm.

The instructors have many years of experience teaching skiing and snowboarding in Scotland and around the world. They are carefully chosen for their patience and teaching skills, but also for their passion for the sport, and their desire to pass this on to others.
