Torrance House is a municipal parkland course that stretches out into the nearby countryside. Unlike many other council run courses, the municipal status of this course in no way detracts from its splendour or degree of difficulty.
The Torrance, in fact, is rumoured to be one of Scotland's best parkland courses and certainly one of the leading municipals. It is a course where you should let your imagination run wild. There are tight tee shots, hard to reach greens and confusing par threes where club selection is often a complete mystery, but great fun nonetheless.
