Situated in the shadow of Liathac and surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Ben Alligin and Ben Eighe, the Torridon Countryside Centre provides an unrivalled insight into the local landscape and wildlife. With a range of interactive and audiovisual displays, there is a wide range of information suited for experts and beginners.
Learn how to recognise the tracks of the elusive Scottish wildcat and discover the best place to catch a glimpse of pine-martins and otters. Take a short walk along the road to the Deer Museum to learn about the history, management and life of the red deer and visit the resident herd.
Torridon Countryside Centre has a visitor shop with information and maps on the local area and wildlife. There are also various wildlife hides in the area, with binoculars and information books, to help visitors spot a wide variety of animals.
