This incredible journey through Scotland's backcountry glens was pioneered by our guides, and travels from the coast at Aberdeen in the east, through to Ardnamurchan Point - the most westerly place on Scotland's mainland. With almost all of the route being off-road, this trip features some wild and challenging riding through superb scenery.

Accommodation is in comfortable guest houses and small hotels, with baggage transferred by our support vehicle each day. This is the ultimate trip for fit mountain bikers looking for a great challenge and an unforgettable journey.

    The Hebridean Trail

Experience some of the best mountain bike routes as you journey across seven of the Hebridean islands. This seven day trip, years in the planning, has been pioneered by Wilderness Scotland, and just pushed out for the first time in May.

Starting on the Island of South Uist and following ancient paths and single track trails through the islands until the final point of call at the Butt of Lewis in the north. This adventurous trip takes you out through some of Scotland's most beautiful islands to explore some of the best riding in the world. Much of the riding is technically challenging, so this is a trip for intermediate or advanced riders only.

The routes here are genuine wilderness trails, rarely ridden and never matched for quality!  An amazing trip - experience it before the secret gets out!

    Harris, Skye and Torridon

Push yourself and have an epic week of mountain biking in one of the most spectacular, rugged and wild regions of Europe. Combing the Outer Hebrides, Skye and Torridon on this 7 day riding journey you can expect challenging rides across Harris, Skye and Torridon with some tough ascents, and in places, some very rough terrain.

The journey starts in the North West corner of the Isle of Skye where you can experience the long, technical trails which contribute to the claim that the singletrack riding on the Isle of Skye is some of the best in Britain. Whilst riding through the primordial and pristine mountain and sea landscapes of Harris and Torridon, progress to tackle fantastic wilderness day rides with opportunities to spot golden eagles and a visit to a remote island village to experience island culture in full. At the end of each day, relax with warm Highland hospitality in our carefully selected accommodation and great local food.
