    Misty Glen is a jewellery, accessories, homeware and gift shop at the Loch Lomond Shores Visitor Attraction, situated in Balloch at the southern tip of Loch Lomond.

    Located at the scenic Loch Lomond Stores retail space, Misty Glen offers visitors a wide choice of jewellery, accessories, gifts and homeware, including wall art, mirrors and candles holders, there's also some tempting aromatherapy products, adding to the ambience of this delightful store.

    The choice of jewellery ranges from Celtic and Mackintosh-inspired designs to contemporary pieces. There a large selection of silver and precious stone pieces, and the gorgeous enamelled range by noted Orkney jeweller, Ortak. There are collections of hand-crafted Scottish jewellery, and lots of up-to-the minute costume jewellery ranges. With a lovely range of scarves and handbags, co-ordinated accessories can be matched to your outfit.

    The walls are adorned with decorative mirrors including Mackintosh -inspired, and crystal-embellished Kerry's mirrors, there's an ever-changing range of wall art, and colourful hand-painted ceramic tiles.

    Visitors can also find traditional Scottish giftware such as quaichs and hip flasks as well as frames, pottery and glassware. You can't fail to enjoy a browse around Misty Glen

    Road Directions

    From the South (M74/M6), the M74 will take you to the south side of Glasgow. Follow signs for the M73 which will take you to the M8 - Loch Lomond and Greenock. Leave the M8 at Junction 30, go over the Erskine Bridge, join the A82 going west following signs for Crianlarich. After 14 miles you will come to the Stoneymollan Roundabout at Balloch. Turn right and at the next roundabout, go left. You will come to another small roundabout and go straight over to Loch Lomond Shores.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- Misty Glen is just a couple of minutes walk along the retail crescent from the National Park Gateway Centre in front of Drumkinnon Tower at Loch Lomond Shores.


    Getting there by railway:- Regular trains from Queen Street Station, Glasgow, to Balloch Station which is a few minutes walk from Loch Lomond Shores.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport, take the M8 west to Loch Lomond and Greenock. Leave the M8 at Junction 30, go over the Erskine Bridge, join the A82 going west following signs for Crianlarich. After 14 miles you will come to the Stoneymollan Roundabout at Balloch.
