Craignish Cruises

Craignish Cruises offer guided wildlife and Corryvreckan Whirlpool watching boat trips on the purpose built 60 passenger catamaran Sea Leopard 11.

A member of Wild Scotland and a W.I.S.E accredited wildlife safe operator, Craignish Cruises offer two, three, and four hour trips in addition to half day tours and day private charters. Water taxi services are also offered.

Facilities on-board include a heated wheelhouse, a toilet, and refreshments are also available. 

From Ardfern at Loch Craignish you can board the Sea Leopard 11 for a memorable cruise through the spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife of the Sound of Jura and the Firth of Lorn Special Conservation Area.

The Gulf of Corryvreckan is the world's third largest whirlpool, and Craignish Cruises run regular trips to view this spectacle.

On most trips, you may be able to spot seals, porpoise, sea eagles, red deer, and an abundance of sea birds. If you are lucky you me even see a hen harrier, golden eagle, otter, dolphin or minke whale.

Lindsay Johnston has 30 years sailing experience including two Atlantic crossings. Having lived in the area most of his working life, he has considerable knowledge of the area and it's wildlife. He has also worked as a countryside ranger and outdoor leader.
