Discover the rich archaeological heritage of the Western Isles on a guided tour.
Delve into the fascinating past of the Isles of Lewis and Harris on a guided tour in a Land Rover accompanied by a resident archaeologist Dave Godwin. Gain a fascinating insight into a diverse array of historic sites from ancient standing stones to deserted croft townships and Second World War sites. Tours can also be arranged to incorporate some of the islands’ most spectacular beauty spots. Tours to North and South Uist are also available.
Most people under estimate how much there is to see and do - with a guide/driver you can relax and make the most of your visit. Whether your interest is ancient sites, standing stones, deserted crofting townships or war sites, tours can be personally tailored to suit your preferences.
As many sites are not well marked and therefore easy to miss, a guide is recommended to seek out the less well known sites.
If you prefer a more general tour, you can visit some of the spectacular beaches and landscapes to provide you with an overview of the islands.
Photographic advice and use of some photography equipment is available.
