Overview

We operate from the historic village of Cromarty on the easternmost tip of the beautiful Black Isle, about 30 minutes by car from Inverness. Set against an imposing cliff coastline the surrounding waters are home to a variety of wildlife, the most famous being the resident colony of Bottlenose dolphins.

Our boat trip allows you to view the best of what the Moray Firth has to offer. After a short introduction, board the boat and head out into the Inner Moray Firth where we hope to encounter the resident colony of Bottlenose Dolphins. Also look out for Harbour Porpoise, Common and Grey Seals and even the occasional Minke Whale. Cruising around the base of the spectacular cliff coastline, you'll be able to view up close the bird colony set amongst the imposing war fortifications before we head further out to sea. The bird colony is home to a variety of species such as Guillemots, Razorbills, Cormorants, Kittewakes, Fulmars and Shags.

An informative commentary is given throughout the trip and refreshments are provided. Waterproof clothing is also provided along with lifejackets, headbands and goggles.
 

After your boat trip, spend some time enjoying the numerous attractions Cromarty has to offer, wandering through the small lanes and vennels viewing Georgian merchant houses and the historic fisher town. Or browse through the many art and craft shops and take a trip through time at the Cromarty Courthouse Museum.
