Hop on - hop off and discover the best of Edinburgh

Get a new view from the top deck on board our five star tours and explore sights including Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse and the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh.

Let our free app help you navigate our beautiful city and get the most out of our five tours*. Join a tour at any tour bus stop - the app will show you where to go.

Choose from multi-lingual commentary available in up to 10 different languages or let a specially trained English speaking guide tell you about their city. What's more our hop on - hop off tickets valid for 24 hours give you total flexibility to explore.

Make a day of it and save money with our Grand and Royal tickets. Grand tickets give you access to all city tours for 24 or 48 hours. The Royal Edinburgh Ticket includes a Grand 48 ticket, plus admission to Edinburgh Castle, Palace of Holyroodhouse and Royal Yacht Britannia saving you over 20%.

We operate every day of the year, excluding 25 December and whether you’re a history enthusiast, entertaining the kids or just want to see the sights we have a tour for you. The green Edinburgh Tour is a great introduction to Edinburgh’s Old and New Towns. Keep the kids entertained with our Horrible Histories commentary on board City Sightseeing buses. Other tours include our vintage MacTours*, the Majestic Tour to Leith, and Forth Bridges Bus & Boat Tour* taking in spectacular views of Edinburgh's coastline.

Most tours last approximately 1 hour and there are regular departures from city centre tour stops.

Show your ticket when visiting attractions as many offer Edinburgh Bus Tours visitors a discount.

Accessibility: Our City Sightseeing Tour, Edinburgh Tour and Majestic Tour offer low floor ramped access and have a dedicated wheelchair position. There is also a subtitled screen downstairs detailing the highlights of the tour for the hard of hearing.
