    Road Directions

    To arrive in castle Douglas, from Glasgow, take the A77 to Ayr, then A713 into the town (2 hours). From Edinburgh, take the A702 south, then A74, then A701 to Dumfries then A75 to Castle Douglas (2 hours). From England, left turn at Gretna onto the A75 to Castle Douglas (1 hour).

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by railway:- Arrive in Lockerbie on the west coast line where we can pick you up.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Glasgow Prestwick airport is just over 1 hour by car. From Glasgow and Edinburgh airports, take the airport buses to the city centre then the train to Lockerbie (1 hour)

    Getting there by ferry:- From Belfast, arrive at Stranraer and take the No.500 bus to Castle Douglas
