Glenloy Wildlife offers all inclusive wildlife holidays based in the Scottish Highlands. Based in Glenloy Lodge with comfortable accommodation, good food and visiting pine martens.

Glenloy Wildlife offer all-inclusive wildlife holidays in the Scottish Highlands. Based in the wonderfully scenic area of Lochaber close to Ben Nevis and the Caledonian Canal, we provide a rich and varied experience for small groups of up to 8 people. Wildlife abounds in this area including golden and white-tailed eagles, ospreys, divers, red deer, seals, cetaceans and basking sharks. Otters are plentiful and we have pine martens visiting the Lodge nightly. Insect life includes the chequered skipper butterfly, found nowhere else in Britain and the rare azure hawker dragonfly, whilst plantlife includes the flora of the Atlantic rainforest, the upland heaths, extensive bogs and varied coastal habitat. Amongst other species a number of rare orchids can be found. We explore the wildlife and landscape of the region by minibus and by foot, with at least one decent wildlife walk each day, weather notwithstanding. Other excursions may include a boat trip, usually to the iconic Small Isles; an evening wildlife walk or spotting safari; early-morning forays in search of lekking blackcock; moth trapping and rockpooling. We  cater for all levels of experience and interests in all aspects of natural history.

Holidays are based in Glenloy Lodge, a comfortable former hunting lodge with 8 ensuite bedrooms. Holidays include all meals and transport, with optional pick-up and collection from Fort William. People return just to sample our delicious home-cooked meals and you are sure to enjoy a good night's sleep far from the noise and bustle of traffic.

Our standard 7-day holiday is offered on various dates between April and October, and is varied to take into account the seasonal wildlife. Specialist breaks of 3 or 4 days focus on particular species such as otters or butterflies. In order to get the most out of your holiday a certain level of fitness is required so that you can walk for up to 3 miles over sometimes rough ground without serious difficulty.
