    In 2015, Greenyonder Tours are available to you in two ways:

    Firstly, Greenyonder on the Edinburgh Fringe 7 - 31 August 2015 (6 days per week, no Sundays). This year, we’re featuring our ever-popular Hidden Gardens of the Royal Mile and a new tour Scotland's Democracy Trail. Early booking is essential, through the Greenyonder Tours website or via the Edinburgh Fringe box office.

    Secondly, all tours are available for private bookings by groups and individuals from 1 May - 30 September 2015. We’re very happy to tailor our tours to your own interests. Please contact us to discuss your needs. Ideal also for English language learners.

    Edinburgh Visitors Special Garden Tour  An introduction to Edinburgh's Old and New Towns through its gardens, designed for visitors to the city, especially if you are in a hurry! Available only for private bookings, tailored to your own time and interests.

    The Jewel in the Crown: Princes Street Gardens Find out more about the stories behind Edinburgh's most famous gardens. NEW TOUR 2015

    Hidden Gardens of the Royal Mile  Behind the historic buildings discover the surprising number of gardens and green 'nooks and crannies', all with a story to tell. See a little-known side of Edinburgh's Old Town in this easy walking tour of approximately 1 hour 40 minutes. 'So enjoyable discovering hidden gardens behind the Old Town facade which we never knew existed in spite of living in Edinburgh for so many years."

    Edinburgh's New Town and its Gardens  Discover the grandeur of Georgian Edinburgh through buildings and gardens designed to impress. The tour includes visits to normally locked private New Town gardens. An easy walking tour of approximately 1 hour 40 minutes.

    The Union Canal Discover Edinburgh's industrial industry and some inspiring community gardens. NEW TOUR 2015

    Scotland's Democracy Trail  After the Scottish Referendum on independence in 2014, discover 500 years of political development hidden in Edinburgh's landscape. NEW TOUR 2015

    The Patrick Geddes Garden Tour An introduction to the ideas of Patrick Geddes, the early Scots environmentalist who coined the phrase 'Think global, act local'. Rediscover children's gardens created over a century ago in the Old Town slums, and visit some modern community gardens too.

    Greenyonder Education Greenyonder's knowledge of Edinburgh's green space and social history is a great educational resource, particularly for adult learners. We cover a range of topics such as community gardening, Patrick Geddes and the politics of green space. Led by a qualified English as a Foreign Language teacher, all tours can be adapted for English learners.
