Looking for something exciting and different to do in Central Scotland?
Want to get out and explore the outdoors and have a great time doing so?
Want a Highland adventure without having to go so far?
Highland Coo guided walks based in the Beautiful area of the Ochil’s has the answer!
We are a local company based in the area of Clackmannanshire. The aim of Highland Coo Guided walks is to create a Highland experience for our customers but making full use of the beautiful Ochil hills we have here in the Central area of Scotland.
The Ochils, once known as the gateway to the highlands are rich in history and wildlife. Bordered by Stirling, Alloa, Kinross and Perth, the Ochils are a natural getaway only a few miles away from hustle and bustle of towns and cities. The range consists of 10 peaks over 2,000ft and offer stunning views all across the Central Belt region of Scotland.
Here at Highland Coo Guided walks we believe in taking care of every detail for our customers. The greatest benefit of getting into the great outdoors is the feeling of freedom it installs, the de-cluttering of the mind it creates and the sense of serenity it evokes. We want to incorporate these aspects of a great walk in every area of our tours! We understand how stressful organising things to do can be which is why we are here to do that for you, allowing you to worry less and enjoy more!
Simply pick the walk you are interested in and add events, lunch, equipment, and accommodation to create your own package. There is one pre-arranged walk each month in which spaces are limited, or we can tailor a package to suit you and/or your group’s needs. With our diverse knowledge of the local area, we have plenty of great suggestions for your visit here, whether it is places to see, things to do, quality restaurants to dine in or simply the best way to travel in the local area!
Our walks are led by Roxanne Kerr, an experienced guide who has a diverse knowledge of the local area. After Climbing Kilimanjaro for a Breast Cancer charity a few years ago she developed a keen enthusiasm for the outdoors and set out to pursue her ambition of doing something that she loves. Last year she set up her own walking group which has been highly successful. She is currently undertaking her Mountain Leader training and has achieved an accredited award in navigation.
