Overview

These walking trips aim to sample some of the tremendous variety of landscape, wild life and fascinating archaeology for which this archipelago is rightly famous. There are some 70 islands in the group and we'll get to two or three of them. You can be sure your experience will make you impatient to return. These programmed holiday packages include:- Qualified knowledgeable and sensitive walking guide, mini-bus transport from and back to Stirling and as required, plus accommodation. You just need to get to Stirling - gateway to the best of Scottish Walking. From here starts your adventure to Scotland's stunning northern isles. Similarly our explorations to the Shetland Isles, which have a terrific mixture of dramatic scenery, plenty of quiet corners, thousands of sea birds and hosts of other wildlife. They also are wild, they're wonderful, and they're fascinating.

A programme of One-day Walks and Courses including the National Navigation Award Scheme, GPS, Winter Skills, Walking Group Leader complement the holiday programme and are also available throughout the year from Stirling.
