'Sealife' glass bottom boat operates from Gairloch Harbour on the North West coast of Scotland. Surrounded by a majestic mountain landscape, 'Sealife' cruises through crystal waters to the hidden gem of Shieldaig Bay. Passengers can look at the wonderful undersea world through their own personal viewing stations while sea anemones, scallops, sea urchins, and a wide variety of crabs and starfish roam the seabed. Its amazing to think 80% of animal life lives below the water! Our passengers are always surprised by the elegant beauty of kelp forests flowing gracefully in gentle sea currents and home to many juvenile fish including pipe fish, similar to seahorses. On the water, black and red throated divers, megansers and razorbills glide gracefully by. We are privileged to see seals, porpoises and occasionally dolphins. The skies of Gairloch are home to sea eagles, golden eagles, skuas, gannets, with the occasional visit from our comical little puffins.
'Sealife' is the only wildlife boat cruise to combine looking beneath the waves while enjoying the breathtaking scenery and wildlife of Gairloch Bay.

'Sealife' is unique to Gairloch, an ex P&O lifeboat specially redesigned as a glass bottom boat, the only one in Great Britain. She is a safe and stable boat fitted with all the essential safety equipment as required by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Richard Holmes her Skipper is a fully qualified Royal Yachting Association Yachtmaster and Advanced Powerboat Driver with all the necessary commercial endorsements.
