    Based at the Isles of Glencoe Hotel on the shores of Loch Leven, in the heart of the Outdoor capital of the UK, it is the ideal start to your holiday. Stunning scenery, steeped in history and amazing facilities and activities all around.
    Yacht Charters can take you skippered or bare boat anywhere on the west coast, Fast Boat RIB Treks run daily tours for 1 or 2 hours and sea kayaking is available either for hire or with instruction. All equipment except footwear is provided.
    We are also popular for BCU sea kayaking skills and BCU UKCC coaching courses by arrangement in Sea kayak, Inland kayak and Open canoe.

    Wildlife RIB Treks. Experience an amazing 12 seater, super-fast RIB. It's just ideal for exploring the wildlife and history of Lochaber. Take a journey from Loch Leven past the Islands and under the Ballachulish Bridge, to seek out remote bays and marvel at the spectacular scenery. Find wildlife such as seals, whales, otters, eagles; discover castles and learn about the history of Lochaber and Lorn. From the Vikings to the Clans and the Clearances, your trip will include much fascinating information.

    The RIB is also available for charter. Let us take you, your family and friends to a remote, loch-side restaurant and pick you up again. We can also take you mountain biking to Mull, Ardgour or even a trip around Lismore for the day. If you have an idea or a dream, please get in touch and we will work our magic.

    Sea Kayaking. A fleet of 7 sea kayaks await you, along with all the required equipment (well, everything except shoes and a swimming costume)! You can hire a kayak if you have suitable experience or qualification or you can enjoy tuition from a qualified BCU Instructor and leader. Fit in with one of our sessions or organize your own.
    We specialize, too, in expeditions. For example involving camping or staying in remote coastal bothies.
    Want coaching and qualifications? They turn to us. We offer BCU awards from 1-3 star, 4 star leader in Sea Kayaking, Inland Kayaking and Open Boating. BCU UKCC Level 1 and 2 coach awards are run by arrangement.

    Road Directions

    From Fort William 15 miles head south towards Glasgow and follow signs for Isles of Glencoe Hotel. From Glencoe 2 miles at Ballchulish and follow signs for Isles of Glencoe Hotel.. From Oban 33 miles follow A828 towards Glasgow and then A82 towrds Glencoe and turnoff at Ballachulish following signs for Isles of Glencoe Hotel.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- 15 miles south from Fort William just off the A82 at Ballachulish on Loch Leven. Follow signs for the Isles of Glencoe Hotel.

    Getting there by railway:- Fort William station 15 miles then local bus to Ballachulish, alight at Ballachulish Visitor centre, Bridge of Orchy 25 miles, bus to Ballachulish and alight at Ballachulish Visitor centre.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- Inverness Airport 90 miles, Glasgow Airport 90 miles, Edinburgh Airport 111 miles, Oban Airport 25 miles.
