Loch Katrine is the perfect place to enjoy the timeless beauty of the Trossachs. Magnificent landscapes shaped by nature, and immortalised in poetry by Sir Walter Scott.

Sail on the historic steamship Sir Walter Scott, which has been cruising these waters for over a century. Depart from Trossachs Pier or Stronachlachar, and travel at the gentle pace of the steam engine.

As you travel, the tales and legends of the loch will be narrated by a member of the crew, and you will be struck by the beauty of the landscape, the very scenery which captured the imagination of Sir Walter Scott, inspiring him to write his poem The Lady of the Lake.

Onboard amenities include comfortable saloons, toilet facilities, and a kiosk selling gifts, souvenirs and refreshments, including hot and cold drinks.

The Loch Katrine Experience also runs the Lady of the Lake which has a heated saloon with a kiosk, the Brenachoile Café, Katrinewheelz bike hire and Katrine Gifts at the edge of the loch.
