    Stow of Wedale Geocache trail takes you on a treasure hunt around this small village in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Explore the village and uncover all the hidden stories and remember to claim your prize. Fun for all ages.

    If you fancy a day in the country, this is a fun way to explore a small village in a beautiful and “undiscovered” part of Scotland.

    Hidden around the village are “caches” of information. Find the caches and find out more about Stow - its hidden stories, past, present and future. There are six caches in total and these will take you on an easy walking tour of the village. Find them all and you can win a prize!

    Stow of Wedale is on the A7. Twenty five miles south of Edinburgh and eight miles north of Galashiels.

    Public Transport Directions

    Stow of Wedale is served by the First Bus service X95 which runs half hourly  from Edinburgh to Hawick and Carlisle. In 2015, it will be served by the train on the Waverley Line!
