    Canoeing offers a great way to see a different side of Scotland’s breath-taking scenery at a pace that suits you. A fun and easy activity, perfect for all ages and experience levels. 
     
    Trips:
    Day trips run daily from June to October.
    Overnight camping trips are run regularly and longer specialised tours also offered.
    We also offer bespoke trips for a tailored experience or a private outing for family or friends.

    - Getting up close and personal with seals, otters, and other wildlife such as deer, white tailed fish eagles and harbour porpoises.
    - Experiencing a true wilderness experience, with crowd-free waters and isolated camping spots.

    Wilderness Guides are based in Fort William and specialise in guided canoe trips and rental. Our guides are all BCU qualified with many years of experience.  We love the outdoors and particularly canoeing and are delighted to be able to share this passion with others.

    Summer time:
    Guided day trips are run every day alternating between Loch Shiel, Loch Garry, Loch Moidart, River Lochy to name just a few.
    Canoe & camping trips take place at least once a month and more dates can be added on request.

    Out of season:
    Canoeing in the Highlands is a magical experience any time of the year and trips are run by request all year round.

    Canoe hire is particularly popular for those paddling the Great Glen and we rent canoe and camping kit throughout the year.
