Edinburgh Food Tour

Discover the secret delights of Scottish cuisine! Join us for The Orange Food Tour of Edinburgh, as we show you some of the best that Scotland’s larder has to offer!

Our expert, local guides will lead you on a food themed walking tour around Edinburgh, set against the beautiful backdrops of both the Old Town and New Town, stopping at six top quality restaurants along the way. In each location, you will sample a different dish, item, or beverage, and learn all about what makes them special and unique to Scotland. Of course, you’ll try some of the most famous local products – yes, there’s haggis and whisky included! – but hopefully you’ll also be surprised by some of the other foods along the way!

Scotland is a country of beautiful natural landscapes, with thousands of miles of coastline, and acres of open green space. This creates the perfect land for growing ‘Scotland’s larder’, a whole variety of high quality foods, from ethically reared livestock, to wild fish and plant products. Combined with centuries of rich cultural history, and a strong community, passionate about local agriculture, and crafting homemade meals, has created menus of delicious traditional dishes.

You will have the opportunity to meet and get to know people from countries all over the world, but still enjoy a quiet, intimate afternoon with them. The food tour is spread over three hours as well, so you will never feel rushed, and will have plenty of time to enjoy each dish, to converse with your fellow travellers, and to ask your guide whatever questions you may have, about the food or about Edinburgh in general – make sure to get some tips for the rest of your visit! Our aim is for you to have a relaxing, comfortable experience, enjoying this intimate atmosphere, and of course, savouring all this delicious food!
