Towns & Villages

The remote fishing village of Badachro is situated on the shore of Gair Loch in the north west Highlands.

Idyllically situated on an inlet of Gair Loch, the village overlooks Dry Island and the island of Horrisdale while the sheltered bay provides a safe anchorage for fishing boats and yachts. This scenic natural harbour is still a busy fishing port with lobsters, crabs and prawns landing there to be sent to the markets in the south and in Europe.
