The Bay at the Back of the Ocean is a west facing bay on beautiful Iona, Argyll & The Isles.
This wide, sandy bay is so named as it is Canada that lies at the other side of the water.
Never ending views can be admired from this gorgeous stretch of sand which is backed by machair where sheep graze and corncrakes can be spotted.
To find the Bay at the Back of the Ocean, turn left from the ferry and follow the road before going through the gate.
