Loch Lomond, Trossachs and Forth Valley

This familiar Callander landmark is the highest mountain in the main part of the Trossachs standing 879m high.

Positioned on the southern edge of the Highlands in the Trossachs hills some four miles north west of Callander near the village of Kilmahog, it is often regarded as having some of the most romantic scenery in the Highlands. The mountain boasts an excellent viewpoint and is a popular hillwalking destination that can be seen from many parts of the southern Highlands in Scotland’s National Park.

The route to Ben Ledi starts from Stank car park near Callander and is very well-marked all the way to the top.
