Callander Crags

Explore a wide range of paths in the spectacular Callander Crags woodland and discover stunning views of the Forth Valley.

The Callander Crags forest provides a beautiful backdrop to the popular holiday town of Callander. The Callander Crags car park is an ideal place to start your visit to the forest park with an information point, exhibition, shop, café, toilets, excellent disabled access, and picnic facilities.

The beautiful mixed woodland offers visitors the chance to explore a range of forest tracks and waymarked trail that meander up to a height of 1,000 ft. From the Jubilee Cairn at the summit there are spectacular sweeping views over the town of Callander and beyond to Stirling and the Forth Estuary.

A popular route with hill walkers combines a walk up the Crags with a visit to the beautiful Bracklinn Falls, on the River Keltie.
