This pretty beach is located 10 miles north of Dundee.
The beautiful bay of Carnoustie Beach boasts golden sand and is nestled below the world famous Carnoustie Golf Course, which played host to the Open Golf Championships in 1999 and 2007.
This small beach is only a few minutes’ walk from the train station and the town of Carnoustie.
Carnoustie Beach is easily accessed by steps and ramps and the adjacent Leisure Centre offers excellent sport facilities along with outdoor tennis courts, a children's play area, a paddling pool and free car parking. It is also near the town's shopping centre.
