    The small but lively village of Carrbridge is surrounded by spectacular scenery and sits at the northern gateway to the Cairngorms National Park.

    The village is a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside in both summer and winter seasons and offers a truly memorable Highland experience. Some spectacular forest, moorland and mountains surround the village as well as a great network of paths and tracks leading out of the village and offering fine views, a rich local history and abundant wildlife including Scottish crossbills, crested tits and red squirrels.

    The village is renowned for its traditional and contemporary music and eclectic programme of events including the annual Carrbridge Live Art and Music Festival, the Carrbridge Gathering & Scottish Open Chainsaw Carving Championship and the World Porridge Making Championship!
