A small quiet village by the Ettrick Waters, Ettrickbridge is south of Selkirk in the Scottish Borders.
Ettrickbridge, southwest of Selkirk, is tucked away amongst the greenery of the Ettrick Valley and sits by the Ettrick Water. The tributary is part of the River Tweed Special Award area of Conservation, a wildlife site of international importance.
The tranquil village is also just north of Ettrick Forest Park which was once a popular hunting ground amongst Scottish Kings. There are a range of walks in the area and a variety of accommodation is available nearby. The Ettrick Valley is a peaceful base from where you can easily explore the historic borders towns including Hawick, St Boswells, Jedburgh.
