Towns & Villages

Fortingall is a village in Perthshire, west of Aberfeldy.

The village of Fortingall is home to the Fortingall Yew, thought to be around 5,000 years old and the oldest living thing on earth. The yew stands in the ground of the parish church, which is thought to have a long history having been built on an early Christian site dedicated to the Bishop of Iona.
