Glen Brittle Beach


    Glen Brittle Beach is a sandy beach at the head of Loch Brittle and in the shadow of the Cuillin

    A dark sandy beach situated at the head of Loch Brittle and at the base of the Cuillin, Loch Brittle Beach is a truly Scottish destination. There is plenty of space for flying kites, relaxing, walking and exploring and the beach is serviced by a nearby campsite shop with cold drinks, ice lollies and snacks. Strong swimmers may like to head out from the beach and explore the lower cliffs. As the burns from the Cuillin drain, the form waterfalls that drops vertically into the sea. The strongest it the ‘Demon Shower’ where the Allt na Buaile Duibhe arrives in some considerable style. After a sunny day, these waterfalls can provide a pleasantly warm and refreshing shower.
