Towns & Villages

Sitting by the shores of Loch Sunart on the south of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Glenborrodale is a good base for exploring the neighbouring countryside.

The nearby popular Glenmore Natural History Centre in Glenborrodale is a great introduction to the diverse flora, fauna and geology of the area. CCTV cameras relay live pictures of the comings and goings of the surrounding wildlife, from a pine martens nest to a heronry underwater pool in the nearby river. Golden eagles, otters and seals reside in the nearby RSPB reserve.

Close-by is the wonderful Glenborrodale Castle. Surrounded by the ancient woodland, rugged coastline and breathtaking pristine beaches, visitors can amble around its grounds following paths ranging from banks of old rhododendrons to loch-side jetties and the walled garden.
