Gullane Bents is a glorious sandy beach from which there are extensive views of the Firth of Forth. It is a popular family beach ideal for sunbathing, walking, kite flying, picnics and windsurfing and canoeing. The sea buckthorn and the extensive back dune system provides a haven for small birds. There is a crazy golf course nearby and also a motor museum three miles south of the village.
The beach is within walking distance of Gullane village, which has a number of coffee shops and restaurants, and is sign posted from the main street.The car park is free in the winter, but during the summer a charge is made.
