    The small village of Insh on the Spey Valley of the Scottish Highlands is a popular destination amongst watersports’ lovers.

    Insh Marshes is the major visitor attraction in the area. This large protected reserve, which is a home to a wide array of wildlife, birds and plants, is over 5 km long and more than 1 km wide and attracts a high number of nature lovers every year.

    Down in the valley of the River Spey, and overlooked by the Cairngorm massif, is Loch Insh which has a wonderful setting that makes it an ideal location for canoeing and kayaking.
