    Inverkeithing is a small town situated on a hill overlooking an inlet in the Firth of Forth, south east of Dunfermline.

    Located just north of the Forth Bridges and North Queensferry, Inverkeithing is an ancient royal burgh, its charter dating from 1165. Historic landmarks include St Peter's Kirk, dating from the 5th century, the Friary Garden, Town House, Mercat House and Thomsoun's House.

    Facilities at Inverkeithing Train Station include cycle storage, a car park and toilets. The train station is located nearby High Street with its several shops and pubs.
