Kinghorn Pettycur Bay

Beaches

This pleasant, small sandy blue flag beach is located on the west side of Kinghorn and is a haven of peace and tranquillity.

This rather long and wide stretch of golden sand is excellent for walks, outdoor activities and relaxation. With beautiful natural scenery, the beach is located only a 10 minute walk from the high street and train station.

From the beach you will be rewarded with unrivalled scenery. Admire stunning views across the Firth of Forth towards Edinburgh & The Lothians. On a clear day, you can admire Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat from across the water and if the tide is out, you can walk right along to Burntisland Beach, which has a  Blue Flag status.
