Towns & Villages

Set in the south west of the Cairngorms National Park, the village of Laggan is surrounded by the Monadhliath and Grampian mountain ranges.

The village is a good base to tour the peaceful countryside by car and a great location for outdoor activities including hillwalking, mountaineering, golf with several courses in the area, pony trekking, and fishing in the River Spey and the neighbouring lochs. Wildlife is also abundant and there is a good chance of spotting golden eagles, ospreys, and red deer stags or pine martins.
