Positioned right on the shore of Loch Duich, the village of Letterfearn looks across to the iconic Scottish landmark of Eilean Donan Castle.
The truly peaceful setting with uninterrupted views across the loch makes the village a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of modern life and a perfect base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland and local countryside.
The town offers a wide selection of activities for all ages ranging from mountain biking to kayaking, fishing and horse riding, and is a paradise for hillwalkers and mountain climbers with the breathtaking Five Sisters of Kintail sitting right beyond the head of Loch Duich and several other equally magnificent ridge walks starting nearby.
The world famous Eilean Donan Castle, labelled as the most photographed castle in Scotland if not in the world, is within easy access from Letterfearn as is the spectacular Falls of Glomach and the wonderful Cuillins Hills on the Isle of Skye are just an hour's drive away.
Wildlife is also abundant including deer, seals, otters, pine martins, heron and porpoises and can be regularly seen in and within the immediate surroundings of the village.
