Loch Freuchie

Lochs

Loch Freuchie is a beautiful loch to the north west of the tiny settlement of Amulree.

Situated in a sheltered location in Glen Quaich, there is a crannog (man made island) to the south west of the loch which rises almost two metres out of the water.

There is a charming 9 mile (14.5 km) walk around the loch on farm tracks and minor roads.
