Macrosty Park

Overview

Many fine, mature trees grace this woodland park and their are some particularly splendid firs.

The stately Douglas fir is the predominant species. Other conifers include noble fir, Lawson cypress, Norway spruce, Corsican pine and cedar. The fast flowing Turret Burn runs through the park and there is also an excellent path network and Victorian Bandstand. A perfect location for a family on a sunny summer's afternoon.
