    Minard is a small village in Argyll & Bute situated on the western shore of Loch Fyne.

    In a beautiful countryside around one mile to the south lies Minard Castle - a mansion with picturesque grounds built by the Campbells of Knockbuie in the 18th century. There is also the splendid Crarae Garden, just about a mile north east from the town, which is a spectacular 50-acre woodland garden located in a dramatic settings.
