Nethy Bridge

Towns & Villages

Situated in the heart of beautiful Strathspey between Aviemore and Grantown-on-Spey, Nethy Bridge is the perfect centre to enjoy the glorious Cairngorms National Park.

The village of Nethy Bridge has been a Highland holiday destination since Victorian times, but remains unspoilt. The majority of accommodation is hidden away in quiet locations next to the ancient Caledonian pine forest. The forest village is well-known for the rich variety of walks and marked trails that are possible straight from the doorstep.

The village is best recognised by the iconic landmarks of its historic Old Kirk and ancient Castle Roy set against the grand backdrop of hundreds of acres of Abernethy Forest and the often snow-capped Cairngorm mountain range. There is plenty of interesting wildlife in the forests around Nethy Bridge ranging from red squirrels and crested tits to pine martens and the rarely spotted wild cat.

Nethy Bridge boasts a full range of accommodation from hostels to B&B and self-catering establishments and offers an easy access to a vast range of activities
