Portencross Beach


    Portencross beach overlooks the Firth of Clyde in West Kilbride, Ayrshire.

    This beautiful sandy expanse is home to the remains of Portencross Castle, an important ancient monument which dates as far back as the 14th century. 

    A walk can be taken from Ardrossan to Portencross which is a part of the Ayrshire Coastal Path. When you arrive at Portencross beach you can enjoy wonderful views of Arran.
