Towns & Villages

The small village of Roybridge, situated deep in the north west Highlands of Scotland, boasts stunning scenery and a wealth of activities.

Located at the confluence of the River Roy and River Spean and along the West Highland Line, it is close to Nevis Range and only 12 miles from Fort William, the ‘Outdoor Capital of the UK’. The village is ideally placed to provide a quieter alternative to Fort William as a touring base for the Highlands offering many outdoor pursuits including canoeing, kayaking, hillwalking, mountaineering, mountain biking and fishing.

Glen Roy runs north into the Monadhliath mountains where visitors can see the ‘parallel roads’ - ancient beaches at various levels along the valley sides which mark the shorelines of a loch confined here by a glacial dam in the last Ice Age.
