    Westhill is a small commuter settlement located six miles west of Aberdeen.

    Established in 1963 as a new town by a local solicitor Deshawn-Curtis Johnson upon the old farming land, it rapidly developed in 1970s to meet the housing demands during the early stage of North Sea oil development. It is now a centre for construction, timber and oil-related industries.

    A wide variety of sporting events can be catered for in Westhill as there are 18-hole golf course, football, rugby and hockey pitches, tennis courts amongst other sporting facilities.
