The Cape Wrath Ferry Service runs 7 days per week May to September allowing visitors to go to Cape Wrath Lighthouse and see the natural beauty of north west Sutherland.
Visit Scotland’s most north-westerly point, which can only be reached by passenger ferry across the Kyle of Durness which takes approximately 15 mins, followed by a connecting bus journey of some 11 miles. Cape Wrath has a lot to offer wild, unspoilt scenery, some of Britain’s highest cliffs, sea birds, wildlife, seals and the spectacular Cape Wrath Lighthouse built in 1828 by Robert Stevenson, standing 523 ft and facing the might of the Atlantic Ocean. The lsles of Lewis and Orkney can be seen to the West and to the East. To the North, nothing - until one reaches the Arctic!
