Edinburgh's bus station is situated in the east end of the city centre.
The St Andrews Street Station is located between George Street and the St James Centre.
Air-conditioned and heated, the bus station waiting areas are separated from the buses by automatic doors. There are toilets and baby change facilities, left luggage and pay and internet phones. A cafe and newsagent will soon be added. There are also airport style passenger information screens giving details on forthcoming departures.
There are two new pedestrian entrances to the bus station at Elder Street and North St Andrew Street (at the north east corner of St Andrew Square). A taxi rank and drop off/pick up area with parking for up to two hours is available in North St Andrew Street.
