Glasgow Airport is Scotland's busiest airport and handles around 7 million passengers each year.

Glasgow Airport is Scotland’s principal long-haul gateway with year-round flights to the United States, Canada and the Gulf. On average there are more than 200 flights a day with planes flying to around 90 destinations worldwide.

There is a variety of transport options for getting to and from the airport, chiefly by road. The airport is about 20 minutes’ drive from Glasgow city centre and about five minutes’ drive from the nearest town of Paisley.  There are frequent coach connections with Glasgow and ever-present taxis.

Glasgow Airport does not have direct rail access at present. The nearest train station is Paisley's Gilmour Street station which can be reached from the airport by taxi or by regular bus services.

The airport offers dedicated work spaces for business travellers and there is also a range of childcare facilities as well as children's play areas.
